MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE

To achieve the specific objectives of the BeFlexible project, a work plan has been created consisting of 9 main interrelated work packages that will be carried out during the project’s lifetime.

WP1 Regulatory analysis, proposals for efficient flexibility mechanisms and demonstrators framework

WP1 will aim at defining the flexibility mechanisms designs and Regulatory framework for fostering flexibility, as well as the definition of the value chain (both flexibility centric and cross sector) and Business Use Cases and KPIs definition.

WP2 Market actors value propositions, engagement and legal & ethics compliance

This WP will focus on creation of value propositions for market actors and definition of the engagement strategy together with the definition of the legal & ethical framework defining the implications for customers.

WP3 Digital platforms and services integration in a common ecosystem

The goal of this WP is to define services and use cases, requirements, and common data space, and the enhancement of Minimum Viable Products for the project results in terms of services ecosystem, and platforms and architecture i.e. Grid Data and Business Network and to system architecture.

WPs 4 to 6 Demonstration activities within each demo

WP4: South-Mid EU demo- Fast track. WP5: North EU demo – Long track. WP6: South-West EU demo Long track. These work packages include Preparatory works and requirements framework pilot validation, adaptation of platforms and current DSO infrastructure for digital results validation, engagement campaign implementation and follow up, as well as legal support and validation, testing and validation activities and overall assessment, conclusions and lessons learnt from pilots. The latter will feed into WP7.

WP7 Evaluation, Impact Analysis, Replicability and Business Models

The objetive of WP7 is the evaluation of the proposed market designs and regulatory framework, analysis and selection business models will be carried out, also assessing and customer engagement strategies. In addition, cost-benefit analysis of flexibility options and Scalability and Replicability will be carried out, followed by the implementation challenges of the proposed regulations, markets, platforms and customer strategies.

WP8 Exploitation, dissemination & communication, clustering activities and capacity building programme

WP8 will ensure D&C of the project results (CCR), including the development and implementation of an exploitation strategy for BeFlex solutions technologies and capacity building for training definition, as well as the clustering activities with key stakeholders in across the whole value chain to stablish a solid network and the interaction with BRIDGE working groups and the AB.

WP9 Project management

WP9 aims to adequately coordinate and organize the overall project work at strategic level.
